Designed through more than $3.5 million in R&D, the system reduces training session time by up to 40 percent, lowers labor needs by 50 percent, and prevents 100 percent of odor contamination and hazardous material exposure.

By controlling how odors are delivered and automatically recording performance data, the olfactometer eliminates guesswork and inconsistency. It provides objective, data-driven insights into how dogs detect, discriminate, and generalize odors—empowering teams to train more efficiently and safely.

Developed in collaboration with experts from the Texas Tech Canine Olfaction Research and Education Lab, the K9 Olfactometer brings together engineering, behavioral science, and canine expertise to advance the next generation of detection training.
